    better foot

I'm an AK and I would say as far as feet are concerned, what a BK says is very much related to what an AK will feel, we both use feet, there's not reason to suggest we are that disimilar in terms of feet. The only difference may be that BKs may be more active mostly, but not in all cases. I only have experience of some Endolite feet, the website pretty much describes them and their activity level suitability. I currently wear an Eprius and like it. thats your opinion but i think your dead wrong. having a knee makes up alot of ground vs not having a knee ive got a bk friend and its a world of diff between the way he walks and what he uses vs what i would use a person with there knee can withstand more in most cases vs an ak walking is diff everthing is. not saying they dont use the same feet but i would like opiniouns from aks although i appreciate his thougths too

    new leg

well instead of getting it right we modified it where it doesnt acutally sit on the bone .is that common to do

    new leg

hello! dont worry yet! dont give up. it can take a while to get the leg to fit correctly. i did find, though, that your prosthetist should not EVER give up til it is NOT painful and is not causing u cuts and blisters, i did have to switch prosthetists to find the right one, one who is really wise, again dont give up, a "fake" leg is odd, our body is not used to having pressure on a stump, i have gotten cuts after leg fit right, but it is rare, i am very active and, sometimes, being very very active without changing socks was an issue, not a big deal so keep going back to your leg person, he/she should not stop trying, if so , find another, we deserve good help best sue well when i said new leg i didnt mean to imply my first one i have had several.im just curious if anyone else had the same problem as me wuth there ichael bone and having to modify there socket.thanks for your support it gets so depressing some times

    new leg

well i got a new leg with an ischael containment socket it was comfortable for the first day had some knee issues but working them out but the problem im having is my leg man modified my socket so it doesnt actully sit on the ichael it sits around it cause its too painful when it sits right on it.does anyone else have this problem? anyway the leg doesnt feel as secure and it is rubbbing blood blisters at the back of my stump and almost too painful to wear. he loosened it up some and it helped a little bit he said if he loosened it up anymore that it would be very unstable?? help????

    new leg

well after walking on the plie for a week i can safely say its an overpriced boat anchor. it locks up when it wants too i have to pull the battery out and put it back in. the knee buckles sometimes you never know when but when it does i usually fall .im going in wed if the leg man cant get this thing adjusted right im going back to a good old fashioned dependable catech or mauch

    new leg

well my leg man said the knee is supposed to move forward a little before it locks back but that is bull when i hit the heel the knee should be locked back untill a little over mid stance. i called freedom they said the same thing too. the socket is gonna have to come out more or the knee is gonna have to go in.it was alot easier to where today but the knee is still not right i got an appointment wed...oh one more thing after i sit awhile the knee locks up i have to pull the battery out and put it back in for it to start working again..is this normal?

seal in socker and liner for AK

if its coming in from the back he ought to be able to just tighten up the back and you will be fine if he has to pull another socket he can just clone it but make the back a little tighter
