  1. http://www.cafeshops.com/amputeehee Spawned by an idea I had with my partner, who is an above-the-knee amputee. Products like these are of course not for everyone, so forward with care (and large grains of salt).

    My quote

Reminds me of Dennis Leary's song lyric: I like to park in handicap spaces While handicap people Make handicap faces

    Wheelchair or Walker?

I guess by "walker" they meant crutches or some other device yo uuse with your arms while walking, as opposed to wheelchair.

    Walker or Wheelchair?

My partner has asked me to post this question here and let her know what responses we get. Her doctors tell her that she should get a walker, not a wheelchair, for those days she'll have where she doesn't want to wear the prosthetic leg. She's thinking she'd be much more happy with a wheelchair than a walker, but they are saying that most people opt for a walker when they don't want to wear the leg. So ... please email me or reply here (but I'd prefer a direct email) and let me know your preference: Wheelchair or Walker? Thanks! steve@branemedia.com
