I feel exactly the same way. What's so sad is that people know what the stuff can do to them. Most users even know someone who OD'd or got messed up some way from drugs, but continue anyway. The addiction must be very strong. I feel bad for anyone addicted to a substance, that's why I can't understand how some people just shrug it off as just a matter of choice or "recreation".

Thanks for the info MJ. I use SpyBot and Google Toolbar Pop-up blocker (similar to Yahoo!). I also run Ad-Aware SE. I use it along with SpyBot to cover all my bases. It can also be found for free at Download.com. :D -
Welcome Dave! This is a great place for support, discussion and information. Look forward to hearing more from you. :D

Hi ethan, Glad you're home! I bet you are too. I hope that pain isn't too much of an issue for you and that your recovery is fast and uneventful. :D

Hi Vince, I'm sorry to hear of your setbacks. I had to fight infection before my amputation and I know what you are going through. It's very frustrating to have to sit around and wait for the healing to finish. But in the end, when you can put your legs on and walk, it will all be worth it. I'll remember you in my prayers.

"What goes around comes around." After all the crap they put you through, you are now vindicated. All the stuff they tried to get over on you has now come back to bite them in the rear! Congratulations MJ! :D -

I went back to work today. It's good to be back and see people I haven't seen for a few months. Everyone here is so kind and supportive. I have just a little catching up to do and I will be moved to another part of the building soon. I met my new boss today and he seems like a great guy. There have been a few changes while I've been gone, but they are all working out well.

WOW! That beats all I've ever seen! What does dragging your name through the mud have to do with proving whose fault it was? What possible excuse could they have for attacking your characther and lifestyle? Since when does a person's position in society determine the appropriate compenstation for the injury caused by another person's carelessness? It's one thing to try to downplay the guilt of the accused, but to twist it around to make it look like the victim's fault is insane!!! I wish you the best of luck with this MJ. I hope you take those turkeys to the cleaners! ;)

I'm sad to report that my aunt has passed away. We got the call at about 11:00 p.m. last night. She was 80 years old and had bravely battled heart disease and cancer for the last few years. She was a wonderful lady and will be missed tremendously. I may have to spend a few days away from the forum, but I will come back soon. Please keep my family in your prayers.

Thank you all for your kindness and prayers. Her funeral is tomorrow, so I will be spending a lot of time with family this weekend. It's just too bad that we only get together at times like this. But, at least we get the chance to support each other.

It must be a relief to finally get the date. I pray that all goes well for you.
