Amputees turn misfortune into careers

Recommended Posts

Funny you put that up today. This morning Martin and I were talking about me helping out with our renovations at home. At the moment the leg isn't fitting properly and although I'm fine on ladders it hurts moving about too much, so I said if you could just do the preparing I'll do the painting. His reply was that he knows I can't do more than the painting and that although I now like to think of myself as not being disabled the fact is I am and I should accept my limitations.

'Well, blow that for a game of soldiers'. When I get my new leg he's going have to keep up with me! ;)

Wow, that guy has a great attitude 'You can look at it as a disability or a possibility' ..

Very impressive.

Thanks for posting that .

As I was once told by Mark Inglis (bilateral bk)_

It's not a disability its just a different opportunity!!!
