Shoes!

Recommended Posts

My daughter (age 25) inherited her not-so-subtile sense of humor from me!

She came to visit for mother's day, looked down at my black, leather Easy Spirit shoes and stated, "Nice shoes, grandma!" :D

Well, I'll have you all know, I'm NOT a grandma (yet!)...

I'll show her, I'll wear my fushia crocs next time!!

Ah poor Hazel! You need to get Ally to subsidize your "habit"... she started this, you know!

My own mother, when she saw my fuschia crocs really, REALLY did not like them! I guess that is a good sign!

Why? I'll be 70 in November, and I'm still working on the growing up bit.

What was that saying I heard once? "Growing old is mandatory - Growing up is optional

I'm not even giving into the growing old part - yet!

Nope, me neither! :P

You're only as old as you feel (so I've been told!) and I guess today I feel about 30! That's a good age!

Ok, I'm gonna play the dumb guy, because I'm so good at it. What exactly is a croc? I'll probably need a pic or something to understand...

BTW, The founder of the series I race in is almost 70 and still rides. He even had a hip replacement late last year and is back. He walks with a limp to his dirt bike. But when he puts that riding gear on and rides, you'd think you were looking at a 20 year old!! So, nope. Don't gotta, aint gonna!!! :D :P

Sorry for slaughtering the english language!!!

Thanks Lizzie. I have seen those before, but didn't know what they are called. I bet they're very comfortable and come in some really cool colors! Ally and Marylin wear them and they are such nice ladies...
