Had to stop watching in the end especially when that car came flying round the bend :) She must have an amazing sense of balance.

any amputees here, espessially females. what u think about this? could u imagine such things are possible? what u think?

I can do the crutch bit...B)...but my hopping days are long gone! :(

She's amazing though, isn't she? :D I've seen lots of child amps hop about like that. Actually, I've seen a few adult amps hop like her too! Infact, I once had to play badminton against a single AK woman who hopped around like that...can you imagine an AK/BK playing against a madly hopping single AK? :o Needless to say she wiped the floor with me...

I can assure you that it was exactly as you imagined it! I couldn't wait for the (very short) badminton match to end...I just wanted the ground to open up & swallow me.

I can state without hesitation, I stink at crutches! I'm envious! :( Though watching stuff like this makes me want to do MORE within my own little realm of possibility!

Does anyone know what happened to her? The article said she passed away in 2001. She was definitely incredible.

I just messed up my post, so if it comes on twice, I'm sorry

So I'm thinking, why not put all that energy and enthusiasm with a prosthesis. It is just my opinion, but I've always felt that if the time comes when I have to take my leg off, well I should do this at home and recoup!!! I prefer to put this amount of energy into walking with my pros.

Is there something I'm not seeing here? I fight threw every "change" temperature" etc., I feel If I reach the point that I have to take my leg off, I do it when everbody has left! Is that crazy guys? I just always fight the "long days" on my leg, I fight the Summer, very hard, if I feel the need to take my leg off, it's always when Company has left.

Yes, I'd like your opinions please. At home when I was a lot younger, my Mum would never let me take my leg off, if it was that bad, I had to go to my room!

I would really appreciate your opinions "friends"????

Thanks a lot in advance

Lynne

She was incredible wasn't she? Sadly, Diana Golden developed metastatic breast cancer and died when she was just 38 years old.

There is a young lad i know who is a very high AK, (he has no stump it is through the hip) and a BK. He hops on his BK prosthetic limb quite often.

She seems to be very good, and reading the web page. Certainly insirational.
