Position of leg

Recommended Posts

I agree that leaving the liner on should keep the swelling down. I drove 4 hours this summer without the leg on and it went back on with ease when we stopped for gas. I did keep the liner and socks on.

Judy,

When we came home from Dallas, I drove the whole way..12 1/2 hours. (the reason being, for me, the drivers side is more comfortable in our car, it's the lumbar roll, the passenger side doesn't have one).

Anyway, I drive with my leg off and as long as the liner stays on, I don't have a problem with swelling.

Don't you have a pelite liner inside of your socket?

Tammie

Pelite == ?????

The gel or silicone liner is what I meant.

If you haver a sewing maching you can make your own support. Perhaps a bean bag or sand bag made to measure and can be shaped to your needs. Good luck with this.
