A HUMILIATED pensioner was forced to have her dentures fitted in the surgery car park in front of dozens of onlookers.

Amputee Agnes Brown could not get up the disabled ramp because it was blocked by a dentist too busy to move his car.

Agnes, 81, who travelled one and a half miles on a mobility scooter, had to be seen in the cold.

She said: "It wasn't major work but to be seen in the car park while people stare at me is disgusting.

"I feel humiliated. I've had a terrible few years.

"I had my leg taken off because of blocked arteries, I got knocked off my scooter by a van and I was mugged. Now all this."

The Wakefield Road Dental Surgery, Bradford, said: "The car could not be moved as the dentist was in the middle of surgery."

"She was asked if she wanted another appointment. We do not consider this a dental procedure."

Agnes' daughter Jean Atkinson demanded an apology. She said: "Mum should never have been treated in that way."

Wonder if the dentist got a ticket?

Yet another case of disabled access just being a fulfilled legal obligation.

That's outrageous! I can't imagine anyone in the dental practice even THINKING of suggesting such a thing!

What is this world coming to..........................?
