Finally! Something that shows that a prosthesis is NOT superior to real feet and legs.

Never mind the DISadvantage he has to overcome when running. I believe if he had an advantage, he would be beating more than the WOMEN'S run times. Every man that runs for the Olympics can beat the women's record by a LONG shot. This is complete B.S. in my opinion. Its not like he's beating the men's record. The Olympics can't even keep steriods out of the competions and they worry about how tall someone is???? Side note... Does anyone know what happened to that coach that ran out of the country after they found all that steriod stuff in his room at the last Olympics?

I'll go by what Sforza reasoned everytime rather than any newspaper article , also it dosn't take an awful lot of knowledge to see there is an advantage there, not at the starting blocks but once he starts running.

The amp runner has to use twice as much energy in his strides, so I dont see the advantage of a few inches of stride vs energy used, also I would tend to believe Dr. Robert Gayley (a world renown specialist in amp rehab) before some kid on the streets. I have ocean front property for sale in Arizona too, interested??

It's commonly thought that a bi-lateral BK amp will beat the able bodied record one day. It's about technology, never underestimate that. It's merely a case of returning sufficient energy from the springs... it'll happen, because it can, it's just a matter of time.
