Nader at No Nukes Protest

Posted by The Nader Team on Wednesday, May 28, 2008 at 11:20:00 AM

----------------------------

Letter to the Editor,

Nuclear waste has leaked into the ground water already in the first 62 years

of the atomic age! Nothing will contain nuclear waste. It fulfills many agendas

and provides governments with political power, the (BIG STICK) grabbing your

tax dollars. The aim of nuclear power is atom bombs. Electricity is made from

the heat produced. The only way to eliminate nuclear waste is through photon

transmutation into a non-radioactive element. This guarrantees international

security. Trillions of dollars have been spent on nuclear power plus human

diseases and death costs. You can not pretend by moving nuclear waste

and calling it (cleanup) anymore!

The Roy Process for photon transmutation of so-called nuclear waste is

real science! Dr. Radha R. Roy, professor of physics emeritus, would not

bother the Press unless it was significant and cost effective.

In 1979, after the Three Mile Island nuclear power plant meltdown, Dr Roy spent

the summer break from A.S.U. to see if it was feasible to backwards engineer

so-called spent fuel (nuclear waste). He found photon transmutation would work

and reduce plutonium 239, the aim of nuclear power plants, to zero radioactivity.

Other isotopes also by the same method.

It can be done with current technology cost effectively. Dr. Roy estimated costs

at $80 million dollars. The treatment plants can be at each nuclear reactor where

the waste is stored in cooling ponds. Use the same steam powered electric

generators to produce electricity from the heat.

Then president Ronald Reagan signed the 1982 Nuclear Waste Policy Act, which

made burial of nuclear waste, federal policy. This put alternatives like photon

transmutation (the Roy Process) in limbo. It is still available in the form of a Patent

application, apparatus and theory.

The next Chernobyl magnitude meltdown is predicted. No one is immune!

I'm going to get slated again no doubt, but anyway, it has to be said..... yet another waste of a post, completely and utterly unrelated to what the forum is for. Before anyone says it, yes, I could have not bothered to open it because of who posted it yada yada....

BORING!

Dear Dr. Roy,

While what you are doing may be totally important and worthwhile, I don't think that there is anyone here on the forum that has anything to do with nuclear energy, so what is the point of you writing here?

You might be better served to take your message to people who can do something about it.

Regards,

Susan

PS now if you want to speak here about issues relating to being an amputee, this would be the place!

Edward Teller, the disputed (father of the hydrogen bomb) was an amputee too! There would not be ANY forum

with out electricity. There are many agendas that affect your life! You can not pretend and sprinkle fairy dust

anymore.

On this GENERAL FORUM....it says....for topics unrelated. The criteria is clear.

You know if we put this to a vote on what we wanted to see on this forum --- I'm possitive anything related to nuclear weapons or fall out would only get ONE vote.

Oh yes I can.... I'm with Dave...

I think it's kinda like the fact that I don't watch the local news anymore. It's depressing, and I feel powerless to do anything about it.

Don't get me wrong, I think I do my share of being active and trying to make a difference on this planet.

I too have lots of things in my life that I could talk about here that aren't amp. related, and sometimes I do, however to me it makes more sense to speak about things that I think others here might want to have a conversation about. I could go on about my politics, or my spirituality, or my Labradors, or my family, but again, for me, mostly this is not the place for that. I have my Labrador forums, and there are certainly other forums for those other things.

And there is truth to the value of laughter and gaiety and fantasy. I know that sometimes how I go on about diet and things like that IS depressing to some, lol.

Dennis, you speak of things that I think are important. And it is good that you made a commitment to Dr. Roy to do what you can about these things. There is absolutely value in taking a stand sometimes. I just wonder if there aren't more productive places to be doing it.

But who am I to possibly tell another how to run their life, lol! I have enough issues trying to run my own! And one of those issues is I need to get off this addictive computer!!!!!

Susan

Well Dennis, I tried it and now I have four cell phones that smell like butter.

Should I have not used the butter flavored kind?

also, it took me all night, and alot of phone calls just to make one bowl of popcorn.

I dont think this is a cheaper or easier way to pop corn.

I should have gotten the "Unlimited Calls Plan" on my phone.

This really has to stop... The Roy Process has lost any dwindling ounce of credibility it ever might have dreamed of having.... it's mind altering, quite obviously, let's all come back down to earth.... I'm not normally one for censoring things, but this is out of control... people end up believing some of this rubbish if they see enough of it.... clearly...

There is data that cites the ill health from cell phone microwave radiation.

Teen high cell phone use may affect sleep

Published: June 10, 2008 at 11:59 AM

Teens who use their cell phone excessively are more prone to disrupted sleep, restlessness, stress and fatigue, Swedish researchers said.

Dr. Gaby Badre of Sahlgren's Academy in Gothenburg, Sweden, studied 21 healthy subjects ages 14 to 20, with regular working/studying hours and without sleep problems.

The subjects were broken up into two groups: a control group of three men and seven women and the experimental group of three men and eight women. The control group made less than five cell phone calls and/or sent five text messages a day, while the experimental group made more than 15 calls and/or sent 15 text messages a day. The subjects were then asked questions regarding their lifestyle and sleep habits.

The study found that those who did more cell phone calling and text messaging have increased restlessness with more careless lifestyles, more consumption of stimulating beverages, difficulty in falling asleep and disrupted sleep and more susceptibility to stress and fatigue. They behave more like larks than owls, suggesting a delayed biological clock, Badre said.

The findings were presented at the 22nd annual meeting of the Associated Professional Sleep Societies in Baltimore.

The Radiation Poisoning Of America

http://www.globalresearch.ca/index.php?con...va&aid=7025

by Amy Worthington

Global Research, October 9, 2007

Idaho Observer - 2007-10-07

Conclusion

America must soon face its radiation cataclysm. The EMR Network says that millions of workers occupy worksites on a daily basis where operating antenna arrays are camouflaged and where no RF safety program is carried out. Thanks to shameless predatory advertising techniques, American youth are now literally addicted to "texting," watching TV and accessing the Internet on tiny wireless screens. These are the toys that keep cell towers and WiFi hot spots buzzing. A nation that requires compulsory mass irradiation to fuel its trivial entertainment needs is surely destined to have a sickly and short-lived population.

Right now, 11.7 million Americans have been diagnosed with cancer. Because humans can harbor cancer conditions for years before detection, additional millions of cancer victims are yet undiagnosed. The Journal of Oncology Practice predicts that, by 2020, there will be so many cancer cases in the U.S. that doctors may not be able to cope with their caseloads. The report concludes the nation could soon face a shortage of up to 4,000 cancer specialists.38

A recent CBS news series on the raging American cancer epidemic left viewers with the mindset that trainloads of federal cash must flow if we are to find the cancer answer. But a proven cancer initiator now inundates our cities, roadways, schools, offices and homes. Any environmental stressor that jackhammers human cells at millions to billions of cycles per second is a cancer factor. Any wave-pollution that breaks the DNA and causes pre-cancerous micronuclei in human blood is a cancer factor. Logic tells us that there will be no "answer to cancer" until we eliminate the cancer factors.

Wireless communications radiation is to America today what DDT, thalidomide, dioxin, benzene, Agent Orange and asbestos were yesterday. Historically, the truth about the public health menace of extreme toxins is never told until thousands sicken and die.

Dr. Robert Becker, noted for decades of research on the effects of electromagnetic radiation, has warned: "Even if we survive the chemical and atomic threats to our existence, there is the strong possibility that increasing electropollution could set in motion irreversible changes leading to our extinction before we are even aware of them. All life pulsates in time to the earth and our artificial fields cause abnormal reactions in all organismsThese energies are too dangerous to entrust forever to politicians, military leaders and their lapdog researchers." 39

Our mission to save the nation's health and restore sanity in the wireless age seems daunting. The wireless juggernaut is an aggressive, mean machine. Federal regulators are clearly compromised and incompetent to protect the public health. Uninformed consumers dearly love their magic digital toys and don't yet understand the connection between those toys and a national raging cancer epidemic that may consume us all.

Powerful economic interests have lied to us long enough. Americans deserve the facts. We need dialogue. Wireless radiation is a form of electronic trespass. America must decide whose rights are more important"idlers beaming death rays for piddling gibberish or the elderly with pacemakers who are made ill by cell phone and tower radiation wherever they go. Must we all prematurely perish so that wireless enthusiasts can capture cell phone photos and instantly send them for processing via carcinogen express? Must all neighborhoods become sick zones so that radiation addicts can receive recipes, ads and other frivolous text messages on their cell phone toys? Does a human being have the right to NOT be forcibly WiMAXED into a coffin, or do only wireless providers and their devotees have rights?, <clip>

You know the funny part is that he doesn't even bother to defend his cause because he knows it such a sham and he's just happy some poor bozo lets him post his JUNK on a public forum. Instead of taking the time to defend his beliefs he will just keep posting more and more and more JUNK becuase he knows at any second he might not be allowed to post his JUNK on THIS FORUM since all the other forums that he joined will NOT LET HIM post this JUNK on their forums.

Someday this FORUM might wise up and do the same -- OR at least explain to the rest of us WHY YOU LET THIS HAPPEN????? <_<
