ottobock 3r60

Recommended Posts

I have a 3r60. It's been on the floor of my closet for about three years now. When I used it, I was a knee disartic on that side. I've since been upgraded a few times.

Is it any good? I suppose it does what it's made for. My problem with it was that I never could gauge where that 15 degrees of stance/flextion ended and it gave way. I took a nasty fall once and broke the femur in my other leg. I was always wary of it after that.

I was looking at it just the other day. The hydraulics are still intact with no leakage. The newer ones are probably lighter weight nowadays. With you being a single amp, it might serve you well.

Hi ya,

don't know about the 3r60 but i do know the new 3r80 will take some beating, even in the best company of knee units

I use a 3R60, and when I need a new knee, I am getting the latest 3R60.

It is relatively inexpensive as far as knees go, no bells and whistles, but I pay for all my expensive bits, and this is what I am saving for next.

I REALLY like this knee.

has anybody used this leg is it any good

It is a good knee. Otto Bock has improved the durability, stance flexion and looks.

Sometimes see used ones on e-bay.
