Hi Lesley

this forum and all the ones I know have a 'guest' facility. Whereby people can look at the site to see who is on the site, the contents, how it is run etc. Some become members some don't, they have their reasons. Guest's visit the site for lots of reasons but wish to remain anonymous, that's their choice which is respected.

I was a 'Guest' on this site for 3 months before I joined. I didn't know anyone at first, but after responding to, and making posts I have met a lot of good, helpfull, suportive people here. I've also learnt a great deal, which has helped me immensly.

On one site I am an administrator of, a section for Guests to post without becoming a member was created; sometime last year. To date no Guest has posted and yet there has been hundreds of Guests.

Some Guests become members, but do not post, again that is their choice.

Some people like to 'talk', others don't, their wish's must be respected, of which this site does.

If there was a situation whereby members could talk to Guest's then I don't think we would have any Guests visit us.

Best as ever

Steve

Hi Lesley

no need to apologise.

One of the secrets I have found being an amp is to ask if I don't know about something.

Further to this, I'm sure there are others who were thinking of the same question you asked.

So, any questions ask away, no problem.

Best regards

Steve
